Industrial Applications Division (IAD)
The Radiation Processing Section is mainly concentrate on the Research and Development activities which come under the projects of International Atomic Energy Agency and Sri Lanka Atomic Energy Board.The main objectives of the Radiation Processing Section is to developradiation processed environmental friendly products which are free from hazardous materials for Agricultural, Environmental, Health and Industrial applications. Also to upgrade the quality of the developed products by carrying out field trials in collaboration with responsible institutions in the field of Agriculture, Health and Industry. Another objective of the section is to disseminating knowledge on irradiation and radiation processing technologies by conducting Seminars, Workshops, Awareness programs and Exhibitions
