Mr.H. M.N.R. Bandara has obtained his Bachelor of Science Degree in Management in 1998 and joined the Sri Lanka Atomic Energy Board (SLAEB) in 1999 as an Executive Managerial Officer and currently he functions as Director – International Cooperation Division of SLAEB.
He has undergone fellowship training at Regional Cooperative Agreement Regional Office (RCARO)I 2008 in South Korea on implementation of regional projects related to Nuclear Technology he has undergone fellowship training at Technical Cooperation Department of International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) in Vienna, Austria in 2012 and he has also participated in several international conferences, meetings, workshops etc. related to IAEA Technical Cooperation.
Mr. Bandara obtained his Master of Public Management Degree in 2013 and completed a Diploma in International Relations in 2014 and presently reading for Postgraduate Diploma in International Relations. He is the designated National Liaison Officer (NLO) to IAEA Technical Cooperation and responsible for implementation of IAEA Technical Cooperation programme in Sri Lanka.
Mr. Bandara possesses an impeccable career record of more than 15 years in SLAEB.
