Technical Information about the service

Generally, imported nuclear/radiation equipment needs to send back to the manufacturer once a defect occurs. This is an expensive process that requires considerable time. The Nuclear Instrumentation Laboratory (NIL) of the RPTSD is capable of conducting repair services with extensive experience and latest facilities.

The NIL undertake repairs, replacements, installation and commissioning of detection equipment, measuring equipment and complementary electronic hardware related to nuclear/radiation applications.

Charges/cost estimation process

Repair costs depend on the scope of the job and spare part prices. Once accepted, an inspection charge of Rs. 1,000.00 will be charged for diagnosis.
