ASNT - NDT LEVEL 2 (RT, PT, MT &UT) TRAINING COURSE AT WEEKEND

Conducted by NCNDT in Collaboration with National Certification Body (NCB) of Indian Society for Non Destructive Testing (ISNT).

• NCB- ISNT has been recognized by ASNT as cooperative member of ASNT from 1986.

• NCB- ISNT is playing a key role in international harmonization of training and certification of NDT.

Field Activity in Padaviya

SAM 6234Isotope Hydrology Section of the Sri Lanka Atomic Energy Board successfully completed the second sampling session in Padaviya, under the contract project awarded by International Water Management Institute. Isotope Hydrology Section works on groundwater dynamics and its relation to Chronic Kidney Disease unknown (CKDu) in Padaviya.

National Training Course on Basic Mutation Breeding Techniques for Crop Improvement 20-24 July, 2015 at Field Crops Research and Development Institute, Mahailluppallama

20150723 104054The National training course on “Basic Mutation Breeding Techniques for Crop Improvement” was successfully held from 20-24 July, 2015 at Field Crops Research and Development Institute, Mahailluppallama. The training course was organized under the activities of IAEA Technical Cooperation Project 5045 titled “Establishment of National Centre for Nuclear Agriculture”. The training course was organized by the Department of Agriculture in collaboration with Sri Lanka Atomic Energy Board.

IMG 2992An awareness programme on drug prevention was conducted by Mr. Chamara Pradeep Karunaratne, Prevention Education and Training Sector Officer of National Dangerous Drug Control Board (NDDCB) on  04th August 2015 at Sri Lanka Atomic Energy Board (SLAEB).   This programme has been organized in line with  the National Drug Prevention Programme which is island-wide launched  under the directive of H.E. the President Maithripala Sirisena with the theme of Drug Free Country’.
